We currently offer four different product packs, as well as combination packs. When used in combination with an aquarium, life support, live plants and a few other items these include everything that you will need to plant your riparium. See our list of suggested product combinations at the bottom of this page for aquarium enclosures of various dimensions.
Our order minimum is $25.00. Product orders that do not sum to this minimum amount will be assessed a 100% Shipping & Handling charge. Please send us an email if you have any questions about product combinations that will work well for your system, or anything else that might come to mind.
Orders are assessed Shipping & Handling charges before checkout in accordance with the following rates*:
- $25.00-50.00 = 25%
- $50.01-$100 = 20%
- $100 and up = 15%
*Due to its greater weight, Riparium Planter Gravel is assessed a flat shipping rate at checkout. See the Substrates & Fertilizers page for details.

Magnetic Small Hanging Planter 2-pack

The Magnetic Small Hanging Planter offers a new level of convenience and versatility for planting and growing riparium plants. While the heavy-duty suction cups included with the regular Small Hanging Planter are long lasting and function very well, they require some extra care for a secure mount. This new development facilitates planting in the riparium.
Not recommended for use with aquarium glass thicker than 3/8" (10 mm). Consult the following new brief article for important advice on safe handling and use of the magnetic planter in your riparium.

The planter screens prevent Riparium Planter Gravel from spilling though the holes in the back of the planter. The mushroom-head fastener can hold a Trellis Raft securely in place against the top rim of the planter cup. Keep track of plant variety information with the plastic pot label.

Small Hanging Planter 3-pack

The Small Hanging Planter holds Riparium Planter Gravel and hangs from the rear pane of aquarium glass. It situates the tallest plants in the aquarium background and provides a sturdy platform for plant support.
Each Small Hanging Planter 3-pack bag contains the following components:
- 3 Small Hanging Planter cups
- mushroom-head fasteners (arrow)
- 3 plastic pot labels
- 6 heavy-duty vinyl suction cups
- 3 planter screens
- 1 bag small (4-8 mm) expanded clay pebbles
- planting instruction manual
The planter screen prevents Riparium Planter Gravel from falling through the suction cup keyholes in the back of the planter. Lightweight, reusable clay pebbles line the bottom of the planter, also preventing gravel spillage and encouraging water circulation around plant roots. If kept clean, the heavy-duty vinyl suction cups can maintain suction for a year or more. Mushroom-head fasteners hold Trellis Rafts (sold seperately) securely in place against the planter cup in the rear of the composition. Use the plastic pot labels to document plant variety information and keep it with each plant.
Each planter cup measures 3 3/4inches across and will accommodate most kinds of riparium plants. Use three Small Hanging Planter 3-packs (9 cups) to plant a 24-inch wide riparium. Use several in combination with the Large Hanging Planter for larger riparium displays.

Each planter measures 5 1/2 inches across and should be used for larger plant specimens. The Large Hanging Planter's flat design and numerous holes promote water diffusion through the planter cup, which is beneficial for plants that require more oxygen around their roots, such as Anubias, Colocasia and Cyperus. Use two Large Hanging Planter 2-packs (4 cups) for the largest plants in a 36-inch wide or larger riparium display.

Nano Trellis Raft 3-pack

Because it supports plant stems in the aquarium midground, the Nano Trellis Raft is useful for creating visual depth. Sprawling stem plants can be rooted in hanging planters, then encouraged to grow forward to cover the raft. Use the Nano Trellis Raft foam insert to secure small stem plants that grow well with their roots suspended directly in the water, such as certain Alternathera, Hemigraphis and Hygrohila, for a movable foliage accent. A pair of Mushroom-head fasteners (arrow) hold the Nano Trellis Raft tight against neighboring rafts and Hanging Planter cups.

Cut from a stiff, closed-cell foam, the Nano Trellis Raft is durable and highly bouyant. Its broken outline, asymmetrical form and dark charcoal coloration help it to blend in with the riparium composition. As large growing plants begin to bog down the Nano Trellis Raft, dumbbell buoys provide additional flotation when clasped to the raft sections where needed. A pair of mushroom-head fastenershold the Trellis Raft tight against neighboring rafts and Hanging Planter cups.
The Nano Trellis Raft is 7/16-inch thick and approximately 4 1/2-inches wide. Use one or two Nano Trellis Raft 3-pack bags (3-6 rafts) to plant a small (24-inch wide) aquarium. Use in combination with the Trellis Raft for larger displays.
